He was predeceased by: his mother Audrey Brumfield Lofton; his wife Carolyn Prestridge Lofton; his in-laws, Homer and Donna Prestridge; his daughter Kaye Lofton; his granddaughter Kelli Renee Lofton; and his sister Nell Rose Cowart.
He is survived by: his father L. "Mack" Lofton; his children, Kim Forman (Barry) of Magnolia and Karey "Butch" Lofton of Bogue Chitto; his grandchildren, Shane Forman of Gulfport, Tyler Lofton and Olivia Lofton (Bregan Verdin) of Bogue Chitto; his brother Julian (Rebecca) of Summit; and his grandsons, Kris Forman, Josh Lofton, Terry Byrd, Mark Wallace and Curtis Dunaway.
