We are sad to announce that on April 1, 2020, at the age of 81, Holmes Elton Cummings (Bogue Chitto, Mississippi) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raiford Homer Cummings and Aletha Sadler Cummings; his wife Marietta Boone Cummings; his daughter Tina Cummings; and his sister Ollie Boone.
He is survived by: his children, Jonathan David Cummings (Debra) and Mary Karen Hollis (Jack Hollis Jr); his brothers, Nelson Cummings and Gene Cummings (Vivian); his grandsons, Christopher David Cummings, Wesley David Cummings and Jack Alexander Hollis III; and his parents-in-law, Earlene Boone, Donald Boone, John, Ginger Jenkins, Billy, LaNelle Huffty, Ronnie and Jeralyn Scroggins.
