It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Earl Higdon Laird of Bogue Chitto, Mississippi, born in Brookhaven, Mississippi, who passed away on August 8, 2020, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Laird and Lillie Case Laird; his son Robert Earl Laird; and his brothers, Homer and Harold Laird.
He is survived by: his sons, Roger Dale Laird, Wilfred Laird and Willie Laird; and his sister Jewel Pickering. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
