It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christie E'Laine Hoots of Bogue Chitto, Mississippi, born in Natchez, Mississippi, who passed away on October 19, 2022, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Carey Odell Wicker; her grandparents, Kirby Ford Harvey and Mary Helen Harvey; her uncles, Paul Thomas Harvey, Randall Harvey and Kenny Harvey; her grandparents, Rev. C. R. Wicker and Elaine Wicker; and her uncle Lester.
She is survived by: her husband Tony Hoots of Bogue Chitto, MS; her daughters, Brea Bales (Chris) and Kylie Pittman of Bogue Chitto, MS; her siblings, Tina Price (Joe) of Summit, MS and Carey Wayne Wicker (Becky) of Summit, MS; her grandchildren, Braiden and Braxton Bales of Bogue Chitto, MS; and her friend Sidney Pittman. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, uncles and aunts, great nieces, nephews, and cousins.
