It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Sue Thaxton of Blue Springs, Mississippi, born in Hughes, Arkansas, who passed away on July 14, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Quitman Johnson and Virgie Cooley Johnson; and her nephew Robert Wayne Gardner. She is survived by: her son Thomas Christopher Thaxton (Marilou) of Blue Springs, MS; her sister Barbara Johnsey of Corinth, MS; her grandchildren, Krisstopher Gene Thaxton, Robert James Thaxton and Steven Louis Thaxton; her niece Lisa Derrick (Phillip); and her nephews, James Matthew Gardner (Tammy) and Vincent Johnsey (Randi).
