With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda Pickens in Blue Springs, Mississippi, born in Union County, Mississippi, who passed away on December 21, 2024 at the age of 73. She was predeceased by: her husband Sammy Pickens; her parents, Earnest McDonald and Lizzie Pannell McDonald Cartwright; her stepfather Oliver "Papaw Ol" Cartwright; and her siblings, Meadie Cossitt, Earnestine Outlaw, Marie Blue, Bill, Milton, Miles and Bobby McDonald.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Robbins (Shelby) of Blue Mountain, MS and Deanna Lewis (Cole) of Blue Springs, MS.; her grandchildren, Ashley, Corey, Rusty, Casey, Austin, Colby (Kelly), Chandler and Samuel; her great grandchildren, Madison, Kinsley, Kyleigh and Asher; and her sister Martha Humphreys.
