He is survived by: his son Johnny N. Rakestraw (Donna); his siblings, Shirley Caldwell and Charles Wayne Rakestraw of Blue Springs; and his grandchildren, Natalie Satterwhite (Shane), Josh Rakestraw (Allison), Doug Rakestraw (Rebecca) and Jamie Rakestraw. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
