He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend John Harold Hetrick and Lessie Turner Hetrick. He is survived by: his wife Ethel Hetrick; his sons, John E. Hetrick (Maryann) and Samuel L. Hetrick of Little Elm, Texas; his grandsons, John and William Hetrick; and his brothers, John Harold Hetrick, Jr. (Margarette) of Atlanta, Dr. Thomas Henry Hetrick (Linda) of Knoxville and Gilbert Harvey Hetrick (Diane) of Arlington, Texas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
