We are sad to announce that on February 11, 2023, at the age of 88, Raymond J. Carter of Biloxi, Mississippi, born in Louisville, Mississippi passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Raymond J. Carter to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Carter and Fronnie Carter (Roebuck); his wife Julia Carter (Strange); his brother Ezell Carter; and his grandson Donald Paul Carter.

He is survived by: his children, Raymond Carter (Teri), Jeanne Luckey (Alwyn), Janice Stevens (Greg), Michael Carter (Gwendolyn), James Bonnett (Gale) and Lorena Weinkle (Scott); his grandchildren, Crystal Gazafy (Jason), Laurel Luckey, Taylor Brennan (Luke), Jackson Stevens, William Carter, Ellen Weinkle and Emily Weinkle; and his great grandchildren, Cornelius Brennan, Sean Gazafy, Chase Gazafy, Annabelle Gazafy and Alex Gazafy.
