It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pencie Mae Pope (Biloxi, Mississippi), who passed away on December 29, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Spurgeon and Etta Ola Peel; her husband D. L. Pope; and her siblings, Lunette Clark (George), Bernice Hinkle (Bill), Beatrice Zajic (Ray), Verna Ferrer (Dickie) and Edward Peel (Norma).
She is survived by: her caregiver Tommy Ferrer (Dianne); her nieces, Dorothy Jean Green and Delores Dismuke; and her close friends, Elizabeth Brister, Joan Abernathy, Sherry Larson and Sandra Cooley. She is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
