It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Oscar Turrell of Biloxi, Mississippi, born in Mount Vernon, Alabama, who passed away on October 11, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearl Lee Turrell and William Upton; and his wife Lucille Harris Turrell. He is survived by: his daughter Sandra Cummings of Wewahitchka, Florida; his siblings, Albert "Sonny" Turrell (Bobbie Gail) of Apalachicola, FL, Lillie Turrell of Apalachicola, FL and Ida Thomas (Issac) of Pascagoula, MS; and his niece Alexis Young (Antonio) of Moss Point, MS. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends.
