He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Francis Diaz and Elmerita Moran Diaz; and his brother Duane Diaz. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Fountain Diaz; his children, Oliver E. Diaz Jr. (Jennifer Oestreich), Ferrell D. "Bubba" Diaz (Pam Smith), Craig S. "Boots" Diaz (Gwyn Lawrence) and Dusti Diaz Simnicht (Ronnie Simnicht); his grandchildren, Dustin Diaz (Sarah), Drew Diaz, Josh Diaz (Claire), Jacob Diaz, Justin Diaz, Olivia Diaz, Oliver F. Diaz, Lola Simnicht and Ava Grace Simnicht; his great grandchildren, Cooper Diaz, Anna Kate Diaz and Ella James Diaz; and his sisters, Julie Diaz Seymour (Matt Seymour) and Pam Diaz Fayard. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, Oliver would like to encourage donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital which he supported all of his life. A donation in Oliver's name would be greatly appreciated.
