She is survived by: her mother Jessica Schoeneck; her grandmother Debora Schoeneck; her aunts and uncles, Christine Frey, Elizabeth Voegtlin, Ariel Nicole Spence, John Schoeneck and Michael "Mike" Frey; her great-grandparent Darlene Tyson; her pets, John Cougar Mellencamp and Tom Petty; and her grandmother Mickey Mouse.

Madelynn's highest achievement came at the end of her life when she was able to save five lives through organ donation.
