She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne S. Joviak and Jessie Joviak; and her brother John Joviak. She is survived by: her former husband Dan Gallo; her daughter Lisa; her husband Sam H. Armstrong, Jr.; her daughter Mary; her brother James "Jim" Joviak; her sister-in-law Mary Susan Joviak; her nieces, Lisa Gallo Roth and Mary Taylor (Paul Taylor); her nephew Sam "Bert" Armstrong III; and her grandchildren, Elyshia Roth, Juliana Armstrong and Reef Armstrong. She is also survived by her extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, her family asks that donations be made to one of her favorite charities: Meals on Wheels, Doctors Without Borders, and the Houston Food Bank.
