With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Edward Thornburg Jr. (Biloxi, Mississippi), who passed away on August 11, 2024 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though John Edward may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John Edward touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thornburg and Myrna Thornburg; and his sister Peggy Herring. He is survived by: his sisters, Elizabeth Thornburg, Mary Gibbons (Brendan) and Sheila Davis (Tim); his niece Analese Gibbons; and his nephews, Kurt Ladner and Michael Hoda.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to The Nourishing Place or WOW (Women of Wisdom) will be appreciated.
