James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father John O. Lively, Sr.; his son Kevin Lively; his nephew Clinton Tapper; his sister Jane Lively Glavan; his sons, James Luther Lively, Jr. (Jimmy), Keith Lively, Sr., Jason Lively and Ryan Babcock (Lesley); his grandchildren, Keith Lively, Jr., Keilee Lively, Ramsey Lansdale, Devon Lively, Tyler Lively, Elizabeth Babcock, Andrew Babcock, Mathew Lively, Alex Lively, Ryleigh Lively, Jason Lively, Jr., Jamie Lively, Kyle Lively and Alex Hall; and also, Joan Tapper, Florence Garner and Mary Hedgecoth. He was also cherished by grandchildren, his nieces, nephews and wonderful lifelong friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home (675 Howard Ave, Biloxi, MS 39530). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church (2090 Pass Rd, Biloxi, MS 39531). A burial was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at the Biloxi City Cemetery (1166 Irish Hill Dr, Biloxi, MS 39530).
