With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Larry Smith of Biloxi, Mississippi, born in Weston, West Virginia, who passed away on March 22, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Adrian Glenn Smith and Nancy Keaton; his grandson Ricky Brand; and his siblings, Sue Valero, Vicky Pasquale and William Smith.

He is survived by: his wife Diane J. Smith; his children, James S. Smith (Vickie) and Kristina J. Cappie; his grandchildren, Christian J. Cappie, James Cole Smith, Britnei Casbon (Jason), Julius Casbon (Diana) and Brennon Casbon; and his sisters, Diane Smith (Dave) and Becky Sopranik. He is also survived by many other great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and sisters-in-law.
