She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Allen and Bessie Painter Allen; her husband Max Thomas Kafer; her daughter Kathy Malthaner; and her brothers, Troy, Jimmie and Larry Allen.

She is survived by: her children, Mark (Mary), Gary (Beverly) and Karen Kafer; her son-in-law Mark Malthaner; her grandchildren, Anne Brown (Taylor), Zac Malthaner (Jennifer), James Kafer (Lacey), Grace Johnson (Kelton), Rachel Kafer, Tara Ramirez (Isidro), Hannah Kafer (Jon Suttle), Sarah Strout (R. C.), Leah Kafer and Rebekah Cresap (Mason); her great grandchildren, Julieanne, Caroline Brown, Hayden, Colton Kafer, Joy Johnson, Summer Malthaner, Kiera Grant and Nathaniel Ramirez; her brother Dr. Eddie Allen; and her sisters-in-law, Joan and Deb Allen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
