He is survived by: his wife Gay Trochesset Hopkins; his sons, Gerald, Jr. (Debbie), Gary (Lillie) and Geremie (Shannon); his grandchildren, Jules Hopkins, Gerad Hopkins, Jacob Hopkins, Liliana Hopkins and Madeline Aubrey Hopkins; and his brother Wayne Hopkins.
