With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ethel Lee Kovacs of Biloxi, Mississippi, born in Maysville, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 28, 2023 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Gower and Leon Gower; her husband Colonel Leslie B. Kovacs; and her siblings, Harvey, Deb, Sam, Roy and Ola Belle Bennett.
She is survived by: her daughter Lesley Kovacs Templeton; her grandson Landen Slack (Wendy); her great grandchildren, Lance, Shawn and Sharayah Slack; her great great grandchildren, Rayley Ann and Hadley Renee; her nieces, Patricia Walsh, Carolyn and Cynthia Gower; and her nephew Rick Gower.
