He was predeceased by: his parents, Maxie Hooper and Lucia Reid of Gulfport, MS; his grandmother Eunice Daniels; his aunts, Millicent Reid-Barnes and Claudia Reid; his uncle Herbert Reid; and his brother Derron Williams.
He is survived by: his siblings, Vinette Rose Gonga of Gulfport, MS and Narval Williams of England; his children, Junior Hooper of Jamaica, Dimri Ivan Hooper and Shantel Hooper of Jamaica; and his close friend Rose Greene of Gulfport, MS.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
