With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Durham Roberts (Biloxi, Mississippi), born in Greensboro, North Carolina, who passed away on January 18, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alvis Percy "A. P." Roberts and Gertrude Lilliam Stout; his grandfathers, Samuel Ayers Roberts (Sallie Lou Talley) and Dr. Enoch Lewis Stout (Annie L. Jarrell); his wife Barbara Ann Cummings; his siblings, Everett Roberts, Alvin "Floyd", Harold, Alvis Percy Jr., C. Frank, Anna Ruth, Francis Roberts Rainey, William, Mary Louise Roberts Connolly and James Roberts; and his children, Charlann, Chad Kirchen of Lawton, Oklahoma, Dale and Sandra Roberts of Huntsville Alabama.
Four of his brothers served in World War Two and he honored them with contributions to the National WWII Museum in New Orleans.
