Gum; his wife Mary Illich Cruthirds; his sons, Randy Cruthirds (Kimberly) of Hattiesburg, MS and Troy Cruthirds (Leila) of Mobile, AL.; his grandchildren, William Tyler Cruthirds of Hattiesburg, MS, Sean Morgan Cruthirds of Mobile, AL, Courtney Lynn Cruthirds, Kelli Anne Cruthirds, Nicole Lee Cruthirds of Hattiesburg, MS and Kara Marie Cruthirds of Mobile, AL.; and his sister Anne Schuck of Ocean Springs, MS. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
