She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth Raymond Hughes; and her siblings, Jerry Covich, Jr., Rudy Covich, Ronnie Covich, Rita Forbes, Marie Frentz and Rosalie Isola.
She is survived by: her sons, Kenny Hughes, Jr. (Sheri) of Ocean Springs, Dow Hughes of Gulfport and Damian Hughes (Amber) of Biloxi; and her granddaughter Raven Jolie Hughes of Orlando, Florida. She is also survived by nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A Mass was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church (2090 Pass Rd, Biloxi, MS 39531). A burial was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Biloxi National Cemetery (400 Veterans Ave, Biloxi, MS 39531). A reception was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Croatian-American Cultural Center (159 Maple St, Biloxi, MS 39530).
