He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Stuart and Lucy Green Stuart; his wife Joyce McCabe Stuart; his children, Beverly Pauley and Lisa Hopkins; his grandsons, Derek Chatagnier and Brian Chatagnier; his stepgrandson Justin Jumonville; and his great grandchild Madison Rebecca-Ann Chatagnier.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Stewart, John Stuart and Susan Chatagnier; his stepchildren, James Rider, Jr., Maureen Pritchard, Linda Jumonville and Diane Allen; and his sister Judith Minor.
