With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anthony C. Mitchell Sr. of Biloxi, Mississippi, who passed away on August 3, 2023 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius Mitchell, Jr. and Rosemary Reed; his brothers, Karl Mitchell, Dwayne Mitchell, Alan Mitchell and William Mitchell; and his stepbrother Sidney Reed.
He is survived by: his wife Earline (High); his children, Anthony Mitchell, Jr. (Jacinda), Jacques (Monica), Mitchell of Madison, MS and Anjanette Malone of Biloxi, MS; his sisters, Marie Dunn of Snellville, GA, Joy (Bruce), Love of Cartersville, GA, Iris Smith and Gwendolyn Catchings of Biloxi, MS; his aunt Loretta Mitchell Scurry of Atlanta, GA; his brother Dale Mitchell (Ewing); and his stepfather Albert Reed, Jr. of Vancleave, MS. He is also survived by four grandsons, two granddaughters and two great-grandchildren.
