It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melissa Ann Ford (Big Creek, Mississippi), born in Vardaman, Mississippi, who passed away on July 21, 2018, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Hope Brassfield, Tommy Brassfield and David Moore; her stepfather Thomas Moore; and her mother-in-law Vivian Longest.
She is survived by: her husband John Dwayne Ford of Big Creek; her children, Canzas Williams (Michael), Alicia Dawn Longest, Laken Webb (Dillan), Haley Blanton (Kyle) and Cody Dwayne Ford of Belmont; her siblings, Pamela McGreger, Virginia Moore, Rodney Brassfield (Tina), Vardaman, Lester Brassfield, Houlka, Thomas Delaine Moore, Jr. (Maria), Houston, Christopher Lynn Moore (Beth), Tupelo, Gary Moore (Sherene) and Oxford; her father-in-law David Longest of Bruce; and her grandchildren, Haley Williams, Skylar Williams, Wes Williams, Kaleb Ray Bullard, Bentley Ford and Greyson Blanton.
