He is survived by: his wife Claudia (Barlow); his son James Thomas Barlow Jr.; and his siblings, Timothy W. Barlow of Raleigh, Teresa Dinwiddie (Rick) of Big Creek and Mary Foreman (Glen) of Raleigh.
