It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys Kilpatrick McLendon (Benton, Mississippi), who passed away on February 3, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sallie Mae and Ovid Wheeler; her children, Kenneth Kilpatrick and James McLendon; and her brother Billy F. Wheeler.

She is survived by: her children, Lynn Pierce (Jimmy) of Pearl Mississippi, Jerry Kilpatrick (Brenda) of Columbia and Talmadge Kilpatrick (Shelia) of Benton. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
