He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Ida Briggs Patterson; his children, Charmain Sails and Greg Sails of Jackson, TN.; his father Willie Patterson, Jr. of Ashland, MS.; and his siblings, Christine Briggs of Ashland, MS., Sharon Hoyle of Ashland, MS., Robert Briggs, Reggie Patterson (Jerry Turner), Willie Patterson and Melvin (Rhonda) of Ashland, MS.. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
