With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patricia Myers Garrett of Benoit, Mississippi, born in Indianola, Mississippi, who passed away on October 19, 2021 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Douglas Carver and Dorothy Pierce Myers; her adoptive father Lance Myers; her brother Douglas Adair Myers; and her husband Richard Garrett.
She is survived by: her children, Ricky Garrett (Gaye) of Greenfield, IN, Sara Vannucci (Greg) of Arlington, TN and Patti Gordon of Senatobia, MS; her grandchildren, Shelby Lynn Garrett, William Richard Garrett, Lacey Adair McAlister (Ryan), Abbey Ray Robertson (Thomas) and Nicholas Eugene Vannucci; her brothers, Joseph P. Myers, Lance Myers Jr. and S. Dixon Myers; and her child P. O. Box.
It was her request that in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to the Benoit Union Church Operation Christmas Child Fund, P.O. Box 21, Benoit, MS 38725 or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
