James Everett Smith Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Everett Smith of Benoit, Mississippi, who passed away on July 14, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth Smith; his parents, James William Smith and Gladys Smith; his grandson Steven Law; and his sisters, Mavis Mims and Betty Chambers.
He is survived by: his children, Janice Simmons (Jimmy) of Cario, GA, Barbara Christopher (Charles) of Rollng Fork, Jimmy Smith (JoEllen) of Coffeeville, Johnny Smith (Cissy) of Rolling Fork and Ronnie Smith (Cheryl) of Acona; and his siblings, Joyce King of Coldwater, Dorothy Robertson (James) of Greenville, Diane Coleman (Earl) of Cleveland, Aubrey Smith (Patty) of Bartlett, TN and Joe W Smith (Clovis) of Morgan City. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 36 great grandchildren.
