He was predeceased by: his father Gerald Franklin McClure; his grandparents, Victor B. McClure and McKnight; his sister Glenda Rahmon; and his stepfather Marion Alexander Palmer, Sr..
He is survived by: his son Jarred Lane McClure; his mother Almarene Mcknight McClure Palmer; his sister Shara McClure Beckwith (Stacy); his nephews, Spencer and Sterling; and his stepbrothers, Marion Palmer Jr. (Beverly), Michael Palmer and Bryan Palmer (Kim). He is also survived by aunts, cousins, nephews, and nieces.
