He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Lawrence Peeples and Willie Decelle Forrest Peeples; his child Doris Jean Burton Peeples; and his former wife Rebecca Jane Allen Peeples. He is survived by: his spouses, Doris Jean Burton and Rebecca Allen; his children, Wendy Peeples Curry (Mike) of Wildwood, MO, Bedford Forrest Peeples, II (Becky) of Collierville, TN and Paige Peeples Bledsoe (Tim) of Red Oak, TX; his grandchildren, Ashley Curry, Seth Valentine, Grace Valentine, Forrest Peeples and Dorie Peeples; and his sister Annie Carolyn Peeples Jones of Greenwood.
