It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Samuel Herring of Belzoni, Mississippi, born in Isola, Mississippi, who passed away on May 10, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, L. B. Herring and Birdie Ophelia Abel Herring. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Martin Herring of Belzoni; his children, Samuel Stephen Herring, Jr. of Belzoni and Samantha Herring Gonzalez (Alfredo Jr.) of Brandon; his brother Terry Herring (Sylvia) of Vidor, Texas; and his grandchildren, Abbie Grace Herring, Samuel Stephen Herring, III, Kyleigh Alayah Gonzalez, Kameron Alyssa Gonzalez and Kendall Annalise Gonzalez.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Belzoni, Sharkey Issaquena Nursing Home or any charity of the donor's choice.
