She was predeceased by: her husband Malcolm Carter; and her siblings, Leo Salter, Claud Salter and Mavis Tingle. She is survived by: her children, Meredith Carter (Catherine) of Piperton and Kay Haynes (Gary) of Franklinton; her sister Eunice Turner of Eupora; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Ann Russell (Jason), Russell Joseph Haynes and Hayden Ellis Haynes (Allison); and her great grandchildren, Hallie Elizabeth Garner and Peyton Jason Russell.
