She was predeceased by: her parents, Billy Joe and Donie Ruth Diffey Childs; her husband Joe Durham; and her brother Joey Childs. She is survived by: her sister Anita Forbes (Robbie) of Belzoni; her nephew Preston Forbes (Brooke) of Belzoni; her great-nephew Owen Preston Forbes; her cousin Lynn Gokharmon; her friends, Tammy Hodnett Marlow and Darwin Dillion; and her godchildren, Wes, Sky, Hannah Franklin, Dominick Phillips and Kelly Hood.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Burton Funeral Home (634 US-82, Indianola, MS 38751). A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Straight Bayou Cemetery.
