She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Nichols Sr and Estelle Carson Nichols; her husband John Jeter; her son John Jeter Jr; and her siblings, Elizabeth and Roy Jr..
She is survived by: her sister Lois Michelli; and her children, Melanie Geoghegan (Earl), David Jeter (Brenda) and Lynn Castille (Ronnie). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
