He was predeceased by: his parents, James Clayton and Ottlie Lea Scroggins; and his siblings, Robert Scroggins and Mildred Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Martha Outlaw Scroggins of Greenville; his brother-in-law Charles W. "Sonny" Johnson (Sharon); his niece Cheryl White Stewart; and his nephews, James W. "Bill" Johnson (Nicole) and Richard C. "Rich" Johnson (Tonya).
