He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Eugene and Ruby Lee Lyles Blakely; and his siblings, Marion Blakely, Robert Earl Blakely, Billy Blakely, Ruby Lillian Baker and Annie Mae Goss.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Hawkins Blakely of Belzoni; his children, Randy Lee Blakely (Kristie) of Kosciusko and Angela Faye Shaw (Zelie) of Kosciusko; and his brothers, David Blakely of Oxford, Dean Blakely of Wisconsin and Larry Blakely of Alabama. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.
