She was predeceased by: her parents, Jason Eugene Thornton Sr. and Frances Hobart Thornton of Virginia; and her brother Jason Eugene Thornton, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Denon Braswell Jr. (Patty) of Belzoni, William Jason Braswell of Belzoni and Nessa Parker (Chris) of Ridgeland; her sisters, Beverly T. Acklin (Kirby) of Gurley, AL, Fairy T. Fielder (Billy) of Madison, AL and Tammy Duett Lloyd (Tim) of Belzoni; and her grandson Blake Braswell of Belzoni. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
