She was predeceased by: her parents, Hassan Mohamed and Ethel Wright Mohamed; her former husband Garnett Covert Harris; her husband James Ivy; her siblings, Ollie Mohamed, Bubba Mohamed, Buddy Mohamed, Sunny Dismukes, Joy Fulcher and June Allen; and her nephews, Ollie Mohamed, Jr. and Jimmy Fletcher.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Elizabeth Harris Campbell (Rick) of Madison and Amy Joy Harris Hawkins (Jerry) of Indianola; her sister Hazel Mohamed Wilson of Alamo, California; and her sisters-in-law, Anita Mohamed of Inverness and Deborah Westbrook of Belzoni. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
