He is survived by: his wife Jane Wilson Adkins; his children, Johnny Michael Adkins, Jr. (Sarah) and Jeannie Horn; his siblings, Randall Adkins, Greg Adkins, Lisa Adkins, Geraldine Adkins, Kay Adkins, Christine Adkins, Sylvie McKinney and Phyllis Ervin; and his grandsons, Charles Joseph Adkins and Connor Isaiah Adkins.
