She was predeceased by: her parents, Grady Yow and Frances Hobbs Yow; and her brothers, Wayne Yow, Hoyt Yow and Donald Yow.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas E. Counce, Jr. of Belden; her children, Sherry Miller (Brad) of Saltillo, Vickie Cooper (Tom) of Wiggins, Tim Counce (Joy) of Lockhart, TX and Tom Counce of Saltillo; her brother Alton Ray Yow of Southaven; and her grandchildren, Meredith Miller, Emily Miller Brandon, Tori Counce and Lige Counce. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Tupelo Humane Society or Calvary Baptist Church in Tupelo.
