He is survived by: his wife Mae Sue Stovall; his son William Michael Stovall; his grandsons, Michael Imani Stovall of Atlanta and Alton Menz Stovall of New York; his sister Mary Meachum of Pontotoc; and his brother-in-law Odell McCray (Rose Jernigan) of Plantersville. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
