He is survived by: his wife Diane Penton of Beaumont; his children, Vicky Burkett (Josh) of Atmore, AL, Curly Penton (Taryn) of Petal, Phillip Penton of Beaumont, Lillian "Nellie" Dye (Terry) of Beaumont, Karlee Cooley of Runnelstown and Kade Lewis of New Augusta; his grandchildren, Joshua Burkett, Presley Penton, Henry Penton, Charitie Penton, Wyatt Penton, Conner Thompson and Carter Dye; his stepsons, Robbie Tingle of Beaumont, Ben Tingle of Atmore, AL and Ernie Tingle (Stephanie) of Kentucky; and his brothers, Windell Penton (Tina) of Beaumont and Samuel Penton of Hattiesburg.
