She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. Gary Martin; her parents, Arnold Sylvester and Lorraine Sylvester; and her sister Sheila White. She is survived by: her children, John Martin (Roxanne) of Leakesville, Quinn Martin of Beaumont, Alaina Justice (Jeff) of Ashland, KY and Kerri Martin of Beaumont; her grandchildren, Conor Justice, Chloe Johnson, Logan Etheridge, Colby Martin, Isabella Martin, Lila Martin and Benjamin Martin; her great grandchild June Johnson; her siblings, Tony Sylvester (Geraldine) of Lumberton, Billy Sylvester Richton (Alda Walley), Peggy Walley of Richton, Tracy Mieger (Don) of Carriere and Stacy Greifenstein (Michael) of Chapel Falls, VA; and her nephew Tyler Lott. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Jones & Son Funeral Home-Beaumont. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
