She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey O. Sylvester (Karen) of Beaumont, Nathan Sylvester of Beaumont, Judy P. Kittrell (Perry) of Beaumont and Melanie S. Sylvester of Beaumont; her niece Janice Pittman of Beaumont; her brother Shelby Byrd of Beaumont; and her grandchildren, Telicia Welborn, Jacob Lot, AnnaKlaire Sylvester, Jaime Benton, Amanda Brunet and Jonathan Sylvester.
