It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Voncille B. Keyes of Bay Springs, Mississippi, born in Leroy, Alabama, who passed away on January 29, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Batley and Jewel Gill Batley; and her siblings, Fred Warren Batley, W. E. Batley, Joseph Edward Batley, J. L. Batley, Jewel Taylor, Gladys Allday and Carrie Myrick.
She is survived by: her daughters, Camellia Hightower (Lynwood), Cassie Burton (Steve) and Christina Wilmot (Chris); her grandchildren, Chistopher Todd Burton (Hope) and Zachary Paul Hightower; and her great grandchildren, Will Burton and Kate Burton.
