She was predeceased by: her parents, Tommy Merkel and Ruby McCarty Vanderslice. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Ray Stringer; her sons, Shawn Stringer, Jason Stringer (Jessica) and Jacob Stringer (Lara); her grandchildren, Colby Stringer, Jonah Stringer, Jaylen Stringer, Savannah Stringer, Madalyn Stringer and Syla Stringer; and her brothers, Bill Bryant (Cindy) and Mikel Vanderslice. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
